“Brazil's Missed Opportunities-What's Next?"

Description

Chip Brown will speak at the World Affairs Forum on November 20th at UCONN/Stamford. The program will begin at 5:45pm with networking and refreshments, followed by the presentation at 6:15pm. The program will conclude at 7:30pm.

Ernest W. (“Chip”) Brown is an economist specializing in Latin America. From before the start of the Latin American debt crisis in 1981 until 2011 he analyzed Latin America’s economic prospects for, inter alia, Wells Fargo, Morgan Stanley and Grupo Santander. He retired from Santander in 2011.

He is currently an adjunct professor of economics in the graduate school at New York University, where he teaches a course called “Economics in Latin America.” He also teaches at Norwalk Community College.

The cost for admission to the event is $20 per person for the general public and is free for 2013-2014 Forum and AR Series members/Faculty/Students.
