Fall Breakout Day: Vote For Farm Veterans

Nov 11, 2013
11:00 AM

You've cast your ballots for officials, now vote for your favorite farm animal.

Visit with our farm veterans and discover the animals that have called Heckscher Farm "home" the longest. Identify the oldest trees in our forest, learn how to read a "tree cookie," and see which animals in the forest live the longest. Take a trip back in time and explore how farm veterans worked on early New England farms, and even make your own butter. End your day with S'mores!

Members: Free | Non-Members: Free with gate admission. Free admission for any veteran with ID.

For more information call (203) 322-1646, e-mail info@stamfordmuseum.org or visit www.stamfordmuseum.org.
