It's Showtime

3 comedians you don't want to miss in Stamford this month

You don’t have to travel to the Big Apple to catch a great show and paint the town red. There are plenty of must see shows right here in town that can’t be missed. From comedy to concerts to dance, The Palace Stamford Center for The Arts is this year’s hot ticket. And this September it’s all about having some laughs with today’s most sought after comedians. We have to say this fall’s line up is pretty impressive.

So book a babysitter, leave the kids at home and enjoy the star-studded line up with these three must-see upcoming shows.

Tracey Morgan

Are you a big fan of NBC’s award-winning show 30 Rock or Saturday Night Live? Well you are in luck, because the hilariously unpredictable and laugh out loud comedian Tracey Morgan is coming to The Palace this fall.

Leave your inhibitions at home and don’t be surprised if you suddenly become the butt of this no holds bard comedian, because Morgan is known for his brutal honesty and trademark take-no-prisoners humor. Don’t say we didn’t warn you!

Wanda Sykes

Touted as one of the funniest stand up comedians to hit the stage and ranked as one of Entertainment Weekly’s Top 25 Funniest People in America, Wanda Sykes is taking her witty irreverent act to The Palace.

This Emmy-award winning writer, well-known actress and celebrated comedian isn’t scared to take on tough topics - so be ready for anything she might throw your way!

Artie Lange

Guess who’s brining his larger than life personality to The Palace early this October?  We’ll give you three hints. He was an adored regular on “The Howard Stern Show,” current host of “The Artie Lange Show,” and a New York Times Best Seller for his book Too Fat to Fish. You guessed it, the hilarious Artie Lange.

The comedian, who’s well known for his ability to laugh at himself, will have audience members rolling on the ground with laughter at the hilarious real life situations Lange faces on a daily basis.

Don’t miss this hilarious line up of some of the industry’s top comedians at The Palace this fall — check the website for event and ticket information.
