Stamford is home to some of the most delectable sandwich shops around, making it hard to choose our favorite. So we’ve decided to list our top four grab and go sandwich shops.

  1. The Sandwich Maestro: If you call yourself the sandwich maestro, then you better know how to make a delicious sandwich. At the Sandwich Maestro you can make your own masterpiece or take a “cue from the maestro.” We like the Mostly Mozartella, featuring layers of fresh mozzarella with herb roasted eggplant, sweet roasted red peppers and lettuce, served on a French Baguette, drizzled with extra virgin olive oil and Balsamic vinegar. Or if you’re a meat eater, The Great Barenboim pilled high with tender top round roast beef and Swiss cheese.
