Top 5 Trivia Nights in Stamford

Bring your competitive side out!

Have you always wanted to go on Jeopardy but can’t seem to pass the test? Skip the big stage and try your hand at trivia night. After all, we’re all smarter with one or two drinks in us right?

Tigin Irish Pub

Think you know everything? Then put your knowledge to the test at Tigin’s Irish Pub every Tuesday at 8:00. The self-proclaimed quiz master of Fairfield County — Pigin O’Tigin the pub quiz “pig” — is sure to keep you on your toes with a wide variety of questions from pop culture to history to geography. Oh and the best part? Chances to win pub cash and or prizes on the pub’s infamous whammy wheel and $5 Heineken pints of course.

Tigin Irish Pub: 175 Bedford St, Stamford CT, 203-352-8444

Coalhouse Pizza

Every Wednesday from 8:00-11:00 is game night at Coalhouse Pizza. Go solo or gather a team of your smartest friends to test your wits at trivia or channel your inner child and play some old-school board games like Clue, Monopoly, Apples to Apples, and Battleship. Don’t worry if you work up an appetite; enjoy a variety of delicious pies and select $5 drafts from the restaurant’s 52 craft beer line-up.

Coalhouse Pizza: 85 High Ridge Road, Stamford CT, 203-977-7700

Black Bear Saloon

Are you and your friends a bunch of know-it-alls looking to shake up the boring work week? Then test your knowledge and luck at trivia night every Wednesday night at 8:00 at Black Bear Saloon. Sip on $4 pints of Heineken and munch on delicious apps such as hot pretzel sticks, mac & cheese bites, and wings, while trying to remember whether a Tyrannosaurus Rex is a meat eater or vegetarian.

Black Bear Saloon: 261 Main St, Stamford CT, 203-324-4448

Bobby V’s Sports Bar

Grab a group of your closest buds and put all that useless knowledge to use at Bobby V’s trivia night every Thursday. With six themed rounds of trivia based on general knowledge, it’s guaranteed to be a rowdy, yet entertaining, night. Prizes are given out to the winning team, the losing team, and the team with the funniest name – so get the creative juices flowing.

Bobby V’s: 225 Main Street, Stamford CT, 203-348-0010

Monster B’s Bar & Grille

Do you know the longest river in the Americas or the first astrological sign in the Zodiac? If you answered, ”Yes” then it’s about time you showed off your knowledge at trivia night. Choose a beer from the restaurant’s extensive selection, grab some delicious grub prepared by chef Dennis Tedesco, and put your knowledge on display every Tuesday at 8:00 at Monster B’s Bar & Grille.

Monster B’s Bar & Grille: 489 Glenbrook Rd, Stamford CT, 203-355-1032
