The Ballet School of Stamford recently celebrated Chefs on Pointe at Old Town Hall, where 130 guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and fine wine provided by Tawa, Reka’s Thai, Tappo, Café D’Azur and Crazy Grapes. The fourteenth annual tasting and auction benefitted the school’s scholarship fund and outreach program Dance for All. Chefs on Pointe provided a sneak preview of The Ballet School’s two-act production of Hansel and Gretel, featuring performances by thirty students. Frank Mastrone, who performs in Broadway’s Phantom of the Opera, introduced the showcase, and performed songs from Into the Woods
