The Center held its seventh annual Raise Your Glass, Raise Awareness benefit at Bank Street Events in Stamford, where about 125 guests participated in live and silent auctions to help support the agency’s counseling and education services for residents of Stamford, Darien, Greenwich, New Canaan, Norwalk, Westport, Weston and Wilton.
Attendees also enjoyed a performance by Chinese dancers in traditional costume, and Asian cuisine, both a nod to this year’s theme, A Celebration of the Year of the Dragon, a symbol of power, heroism and perseverance.
The evening’s honoree was the State’s Attorney’s Office of Stamford and Norwalk. State’s attorney David Cohen, with assistant state’s attorneys Maureen Ornousky and Richard Colangelo, accepted the award.
