Humanitarian Efforts

Leading citizens of Lower Fairfield County and state government officials joined the Anti-Defamation League in honoring Kim Hausman Athan of Greenwich and her parents, Irwin and Eva Hausman of Simsbury, and Rita and Martin Edelston of Greenwich, at the 2011 Daniel R. Ginsberg Humanitarian Award reception at Temple Beth El in Stamford. The award reception and gala dinner is one of ADL’s premier annual events in Connecticut. The cochairmen of the event were David Friedman, Pam Karetsky and Michele Stuart. The evening also featured a program celebrating twenty years of ADL’s renowned A World of Difference Institute and
ADL’s diversity and anti-bias educational programming in Connecticut.
