American Heart Association Go Red for Women

Dr. Suzanne Steinbaum, attending cardiologist and the director of Women and Heart Disease department of Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, delivered a heart health talk to more than 750 women for the ninth annual American Heart Association Go Red For Women Luncheon and Learning Sessions at the Hyatt in Greenwich.
A half-day wellness event before the luncheon included educational breakout sessions, an interactive heart checkup and a silent auction.Steinbaum was also honored with the first AHA Woman of Heart Award in recognition of her work to create a lasting legacy of quality health education and awareness for women from the AHA.
A national Go Red For Women spokesperson, Steinbaum has been a featured women and heart disease expert on ABC, NBC and CBS news.
Chef Anne Burrell, host of the Food Network series Secrets of a Restaurant Chef, and cohost of Worst Cooks in America, entertained the crowd as celebrity guest speaker.
