The Fifteenth Annual Chefs on Pointe

The Ballet School of Stamford hosted its fifteenth annual Chefs on Pointe at historic Old Town Hall. The food and wine tasting, and auction, benefitted the school’s scholarship fund and outreach program Dance for All.

Participating restaurants included: Tawa, Barcelona, Bar Rosso, Myrna’s Kitchen and Bar Q. Crazy Grapes provided beverages for the 130 guests who attended the event.

Chefs on Pointe provided a showcase for a sneak preview of The Ballet School of Stamford’s upcoming production of Don Quixote Suites. Ballet School of Stamford parent Frank Mastrone, who performed in Broadway’s Phantom of the Opera, introduced the showcase and wove songs from the Broadway classic Man of La Mancha between the three vignettes from the preview danced by thirty students.
