Nonprofit Holiday Wish List

With the holidays around the corner, we asked a few of our nonprofit friends what tops their wish lists for the people they serve. Here is what they said.

"Since Domus provides holiday food and gifts to more than 1,000 children from more than 400 families, we need help collecting donations of nonperishable food and new gifts for children of all ages. We also seek people to adopt families facing extreme circumstances whose children will only have Christmas gifts with your help." -Mike Duggan, Domus

"Inspirica’s Holiday Gift Collection is the sole provider of gifts to more than 2,750 Fairfield County children affected by poverty, homelessness and/or HIV/AIDS. Those interested in bringing a smile to a child this winter can do so by sponsoring a child and fulfilling his or her wish list by donating new toys to the HGC drive." -Jason Shaplen, Inspirica

"The Domestic Violence Crisis Center is always grateful for donations to its SafeHouses. Ongoing needs include new twin-size bedsheets and blankets, pillows, towels, pajamas and socks for children and women, large T-shirts and sweatpants, soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant and diapers." -Kathy Lake, Domestic Violence Crisis Center
